When babies in The Pod become confident walkers they begin to make the transition to the Tots room. The Tots room is large and spacious with lots of natural light, two sleep rooms, two nappy changing rooms and a separate eating area.

The Tots are becoming more independent and this is reflected in the activities and experiences that are provided. Staff observe the children carefully and tailor the activities accordingly, planning for their individual needs and focusing on their interests and milestones.

Children are encouraged to join in with adult led group activities at various times throughout the day such as song time, using props as prompts, story time, messy play (water, sand, shredded paper!) and music time to name but a few.
